As a writer and marketing specialist, Stefanie’s worked with some of the biggest brands around the globe. Brands like Nike, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Vancouver Giants, Tesco, and Benefit Cosmetics have turned to her for thoughtful strategic-planning and effective creative writing.
Not one to sit still, over the last decade Stef has lived on three continents, and travelled to fifty countries.
She spent numerous years working in the action sports industry with her time at Quiksilver and Roxy, and has a strong grasp on the opportunities and challenges that lie in the Canadian retail industry. Working at Hearst Magazines UK in London for a few years further expanded her knowledge in communications with some of the biggest names in media. Her time spent running events and working as a consultant in Ghana inspired the work of her first novel — coming soon!
Now, settled back in her hometown of Vancouver, she’s been working in with PressReader, the world’s leading digital newsstand. Here, she works with more than 7,000 global publications like Vogue, The Washington Post and Fast Co. to help their brands evolve their digital strategy. She’s also managed relationships with key business partners including Cathay Pacific, Air Canada, and The Spirit of Tasmania to technically distribute global content to their customers.
As of 2019, she’s jumped into her own business, Broad World, with both feet. Here, she shares her expertise in branding and marketing with start-ups, small businesses, and professionals. “There are so many cool people doing interesting, influential things in every community. Sometimes they just need help explaining what they do and getting what word out. That’s where I come in.”
Stef started sharing her stories on Broad World’s blog, inspired by her travels, life’s lessons, and the incredible women she came across. Check it out – you might find a story that lights a fire in you, too.
